SpellDust, A Witch Themed RTS Game Coming Soon to Mobile Devices
Swedish game developer Grand Pike has teamed up with Arctic Game Lab to release its fantasy strategy game, Spelldust, on June 22. The game will launch on mobile devices for iOS and Android devices.
Spelldust is a real-time strategy game that uses a wizard theme. Described by Grand Pike as a mix of Hearthstone and Clash Royale, you'll participate in intense PvP duels using pre-selected spell cards and fast-paced combat.
The game uses mechanics and card combinations inspired by traditional card games, but played in a slightly more mobile-friendly real-time format.
“We are very excited to launch Spelldust and excited to show the world what we have been working on over the last few years,” said Daniel hgren of Grand Pike. "We've developed Spelldust for fans, and we want to include our players in helping us improve the game in the future."
Spelldust initially launched gently in some territories in April, which helped Grand Pike build an early start for the community that gave it plenty of feedback for changes to be made to the game. More upgrades will be released with the game's full launch on June 22.
Spelldust will be available on June 22 on the App Store and Google Play. There's no information on how much the full version of the game will cost, but it's currently free to play during its soft-launch. More will have to be revealed as the release date draws near.
