Manchester United Defeat Newcastle 2-1 at Old Trafford

Manchester United managed to win 2-1 over Newcastle United in the English Premier League match held at Old Trafford, Saturday night (12/30/2025). This result brings the Red Devils closer to the European zone, while for Newcastle, this defeat keeps them stuck in the middle of the standings.

The match started at a fast tempo, but Manchester United were more dominant in possession. In the 15th minute, Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring with a clever free kick that deceived Newcastle goalkeeper Nick Pope. The goal made the hosts even more confident.
