 Juventus Vs PSV: Bianconeri Win 3-1-Juventus opened their Champions League campaign this season with a sip. The Old Lady defeated PSV Eindhoven 3-1.

Juventus vs PSV took place at the Allianz Stadium, Wednesday (18/9/2024) early morning WIB. The Bianconeri led 2-0 in the first half through Kenan Yildiz and Weston McKennie.


Juventus added one goal in the second half through Nico Gonzalez. Juventus' goal was then broken into in injury time through Ismael Saibari which made the final score 3-1.

Course of the Match

PSV appeared very aggressive in the first 15 minutes. The Dutch team was also very fast in passing the ball, which made Juventus overwhelmed.

The real threat from Juventus came in the 19th minute. Andrea Cambiaso sent a cross into the PSV goal mouth, but Nico Gonzalez failed to head the ball perfectly.

Juventus led 1-0 in the 21st minute. Yildiz swept into the box from the left and curled a shot into the top corner of PSV's far post.

Nico Gonzalez again failed to break through PSV's goal. This time his header went over the PSV goal.

Juventus took a 2-0 lead in the 27th minute. Weston McKennie scored after latching onto a loose pass from Gonzalez that Dusan Vlahovic failed to control.

Juventus created several other chances. However, the score remained 2-0 until halftime.

Juventus still played well at the start of the second half. The Old Lady increased their lead to 3-0 in the 52nd minute through Nico Gonzalez.

PSV increased their attacks after conceding three goals. On the other hand, Juventus' defense was still okay and PSV had difficulty releasing attempts during the 20 minutes of the second half.

PSV fired their first shot in the second half through Ismael Saibari. Goalkeeper Michele Di Gregoria was still able to catch Saibari's shot.

Juventus seemed comfortable with their lead. Thiago Motta's troops played more waiting to get momentum on the counterattack.

PSV scored a stoppage-time consolation goal through Saibari. The goal gave Juventus a 3-1 win and their first goal conceded this season in all competitions.
